Yes. You need to register the first time you book your ride with GOA TAXI.

Some important reasons on why you should register with GOA TAXI .

  • To help prevent any fraudulent bookings
  • To track all your previous and existing bookings with us.
  • To give you personalized booking experience and offers.
  • To provide details to driver on customer boarding his/her vehicle.

To create an account, the user has to sign-up on the GOA TAXI App using just his/her mobile number. Enter the OTP shared on the mobile No and click on “Verify and Proceed”. Complete your profile by entering First Name, Last Name, DOB and Email ID. Upload your Photo. Once done click on Submit. Your account shall be created on the registered mobile number given. That’s it, you are ready to GO.

If your Mobile number is already registered on GOA TAXI , then also you need to get your OTP every time you login, you do not have to put OTP unless you have logged out and need to LOGIN.

Login is based on OTP shared on your registered mobile No. As such resting the password would not be required.This step is needed from Security perspective.

Allow the app to access your device location, check the setting on your phone to do so. On opening the app, you will be able to view TAXI near your location. Enter your pickup location (By default it would be your device location) and drop location (Location where you want to go). System will show you the vehicle available category wise along with the fare. Choose the preferred cab type for your commute (SEDAN, HATCHBACK, MUV & SUV), and select the CONFIRM option. Ensure necessary wallet balance is available at the time of Confirming. Simple, Isn’t it.

Yes, you will be able to track your cab’s location on the map after your booking is confirmed. You can check the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) in which your driver will pick you up from the provided location.

Yes, you can request for a preferred choice of cab, as SEDAN, HATCHBACK, MUV & SUV. But, there is no option to request for a particular driver.

As of now, you will be asked to cancel your current booking and re-book another cab.

There are no cancellation charges applied if you cancel the ride before 3 minutes, after 3 minutes you would be.

No, two people cannot register using the same mobile number. However if 2 people try to log in using same mobile No, the first login will get logged out automatically. So make sure that your mobile number & OTP works on only 1 mobile at a time.

You have to submit your mobile number in order to register with us. Once details are submitted, you are ready to book a cab. This entire process takes less than a minute.

No, that option is not available as of now. The default language is set to English.

NO, as of now you can’t do that.

There are AC Taxis available, as of now. However, depending upon situation, the customer can ask the driver to turn off the AC if required.

As of now, YES till completion of the ride, but going further, No, the driver will not be able to view your phone number post completion / cancellation as all numbers are masked.

As of now you will not have multiple hop points towards a ride destination. However you may ask the driver to take you to the desired destination by paying additional amount of extra miles covered.

YES. You can very well do that, most of the things are designed for your safety & security & to have minimize communication with driver, Mobile app will let you have all the data that is required such as ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), Distance to be covered, & rate the driver after the ride is done.

No. There are no cameras in our cabs as the company values the customer’s privacy.

No waiting charges are levied on the Rider. However if the driver reaches the pick up point and you are not available, the driver can mark in the system as No show, post which cancellation charges will be applicable.

Yes, the service will be prompt on prior booking however for scheduled ride, INR of Rs 100 will be levied since we engage the driver in advance for you.

No. In the case of a breakdown once reported, the call centre executive will assign a new cab to pick up the rider from breakdown location and complete the booked ride.

You will receive your receipt via default in the Mobile app, MENU section of “Your Rides”. You can click on mail invoice to get an email.

Yes, GOA TAXI is available 24*7.

As of now, we do not offer cabs on a sharing basis.

Payment of ride is done at the time of booking the cab. Payment in the form of any Digital modes such as Net Banking, UPI linked with the GOA TAXI Wallet app is accepted. Cash mode of payment can be opted by topping up the GoaTaxi wallet by INR 350.00 Upon completion of the ride, the ride amount needs to be paid in Cash to the driver.

After every ride, both rider and drivers are given the opportunity to rate each other based on their trip experience.

No, Parking charges and toll will be extra if applicable based on the location of pick up and route has to pay by customer.

YES, you need to load the Minimum destination fare in INR to book ride on GOA TAXI APP.

YES, we would refund you with all the charges that is within GOA TAXI WALLET, when you are done with travelling, minus any cancellation/conveyance charges, if any.

Please share the OTP with Driver only, when you sit in the designated taxi cab being assigned to you from the system. Make sure that you identify the driver with the credentials given on your rider app with driver details as Name, Vehicle Number & share the OTP when you are physically present in the cab.
